Is the Explorer Bottle dishwasher safe?
No, this bottle is hand wash only. Be careful not to completely submerge it in water, as this may affect the vacuum insulation.
Is there anything I need to be aware of?
We do not recommend using this bottle to store milk or baby food. Avoid using it to store perishable beverages (which may expire) for long periods of time. When storing hot liquids, keep them out of reach of children. To ensure 100% leak-proof, check that the silicone seal is correctly positioned inside the lid. Keep the bottle upright and be aware that hot liquids can scald.
How should I clean it?
Before first use, be sure to clean with warm, soapy water. Clean regularly. Avoid completely submerging it in water. Allow it to dry completely after washing. Be sure to store with the lid open to allow air to circulate.
How to remove internal stains?
If your drinks have stained the inside of the bottle, fill it with hot water and mix in a teaspoon of baking soda (NB: don't close the lid while doing this). Leave it overnight for best results. You can also use a vinegar and water solution—but wash it thoroughly afterward with hot, soapy water to remove any taste or odor.
