Can I put the glass lunch box in the microwave?
Yes, you can microwave the Glass Lunch Box, silicone lid, and wood fiber base. DO NOT microwave the stainless steel lid. Make sure the glass jar is heated inside the wood fiber base, which is heat resistant and will ensure you don't burn your hands. The silicone lid has a small tab that can be fitted inside the rim of the glass jar, preventing the formation of a vacuum when heating the jar. This lid also ensures a splash-free experience. You should heat food for a maximum of 2 minutes, stirring and repeating as needed.

Can I put the glass lunch box in the oven?
The stainless steel lid and wood fiber base are NOT oven safe, but the glass jar (alone) and silicone lid are. DO NOT allow direct contact with flames or use with grill. Glass is susceptible to shattering if there is a sudden change in temperature, so make sure it is at room temperature before placing it in the oven (i.e., do not move it directly from the refrigerator or freezer to a preheated oven), and DO NOT run it under cold water or place it on a cold surface directly from the oven.

Can I put the glass lunch box in the dishwasher?
Yes, you can wash all parts of this product in the dishwasher. However, we recommend using the top rack if possible. Be careful to wait until the glass jar has cooled down after a cycle and avoid placing it directly on a cold surface, as it may break due to thermal shock.

Can I put the glass lunch box in the freezer?
All parts of the glass lunch box are freezer-safe, but you must ensure that food is completely thawed before reheating and never use the microwave or oven to thaw food. Also, since liquid expands by about 9% when it freezes, you should make sure you have some room in your lunch box before freezing and don't overfill it.

Is the glass lunch box BPA and BPS free?
Yes they are.

Is there anything I can do to make the stainless steel lid easier to open?
Sometimes, after a few uses, the lid can become stiff and difficult to open. Just apply a little vegetable oil inside and dry it, this will make it easier to open. Never close the stainless steel lid on the wood fiber base without first checking that the glass lunch box and silicone lid are also inside.

What's in the wood fiber base?
The protective wood fiber bowl is made from a blend of polypropylene and sustainably sourced PEFC wood fiber (30%).
